  • 2 lbs. chicken tenders
  • 1 cup kewpie roasted sesame marinade
  • 3 bell peppers thinly sliced
  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 2 avocados thinly sliced


  • Place 1 lb. chicken tenders or thinly sliced breast to a small baking dish or container. Pour 1 cup Kewpie Roasted Sesame Marinade/Dressing over the top and let marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.
  • In a large 12” skillet, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and sear chicken tenders or breasts until golden brown on each side and cooked through; about 3 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from skillet to a plate to rest, then slice.
  • Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to skillet and add the 3 sliced bell peppers. Saute until softened and beginning to brown. Season with a big pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Meanwhile, preheat your oven to a low broil. Brush the 6 hoagie sandwich buns with olive oil, then transfer to a sheet pan and toast under the broiler (watch them closely!)
  • Assemble sandwiches by spreading extra Kewpie Roasted Sesame Dressing on each toasted roll, top with sliced chicken, sautéed peppers, and sliced avocado.


  • Serve these sandwiches with a tossed salad, chips and some cut fruit.


  • Protein: Swap chicken tenders for thinly sliced pork or turkey tenderloins.
