Ninja Air Fryer Review
January 13, 2021

My New Kitchen Favorite
After gifting myself this Ninja Air Fryer for the holidays I wasn’t sure how much use I would get out of it. Surprise! It feels like I’m using it constantly and don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s a fantastic tool in the kitchen that can be used for way more tasks than I had originally intended.
There’s a reason home cooks have been raving about air fryers for the past couple of years and if I’m being honest, I’m just disappointed that it took me so long to get on board.

Just a spritz of oil will do!
I use my favorite oil sprayer to make our chicken tenders extra crispy but because of the nonstick basket and how the air circulates there is no oil is actually needed. However, I find that you only need 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of oil each time you use your air fryer to yield top notch results. Such a great tool for healthy living in 2021!
But do I REALLY need one?
Of course not. But I do think it’s able to provide superior results to standard oven cooking when it comes to crispiness. An air fryer recreates the texture and crispiness you get when you fry food rather than softer texture you get when baking. I’ve found that even when I’m using the convection setting on my oven, I simply can’t get the results an air fryer provides when it comes to that crisp crunch.
Pros
- Panel: So simple, especially compared to the competitors.
- Temp: This goes up to 400 degrees but the temp has a large range.
- Clean Up: The nonstick basket can go in the dishwasher!
- Dehydrator: Excited to try this function!
- Reheat: We don’t own a microwave so this has been a great way to reheat things.
Cons
- Noise: This is one of the louder air fryers out there – noise comparable to a microwave.
Final Thoughts
If you’re ready to try something new in the kitchen and have kiddos that love to snack, this versatile tool can be just what you need to mix things up in 2021! The Ninja Air Fryer is definitely worth the hype!
