  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 9-12 slices thick deli-style ham
  • 9-12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish or similar sized casserole dish.
  • Halve 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls lengthwise; do not separate the rolls, they should all still be connected when you slice them so that the bottom halves stay connected and the top halves stay connected.
  • Spread ¼ cup mayonnaise over the bottom rolls. Top with 9-12 slices ham, then 9–12 slices Swiss, and 1 sliced apple. Top with the top of the rolls.
  • In a small bowl whisk together 4 tablespoons melted butter, 1 tablespoon Dijon, and 2 teaspoons honey. Brush mixture over the sandwiches.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melty and sliders are browned on top.

  • Serve with a simple green salad and corn on the cob to complete this meal.

  • Protein: Swap ham with oven roasted turkey or any deli meat.
  • Vegetarian: Remove ham and add avocado.
  • Gluten-Free: Use a gluten-free sweet roll.

  • Assemble rolls in advance (do not bake), cover and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Just before baking, pour melted butter mixture over the top.
