Ingredients

FOR THE PEACH BBQ SAUCE

  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • cup ketchup
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

FOR THE PORK

  • 2 pork tenderloins, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • kosher salt and cracked black pepper

Instructions

FOR THE BBQ SAUCE

  • Combine in a food processor or blender 2 cups sliced peaches, ½ cup brown sugar, ⅓ cup ketchup, ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 teaspoons minced garlic and 2 teaspoons minced ginger. Process until smooth; transfer ½ cup sauce to a small bowl for basting.

FOR THE PORK

  • Drizzle 2 pork tenderloins with 2 tablespoons oil and season with 2 teaspoons garlic powder and a big pinch salt and pepper.
  • Preheat grill over medium-high heat. Grill pork tenderloins until brown and meat thermometer inserted into center registers 140°F, turning occasionally with tongs, about 15 minutes. Brush pork all over with ½ reserved bbq sauce.
  • Grill pork until glazed, turning and brushing with more basting sauce, about 3-5 minutes longer until 145°F.
  • Transfer pork to cutting board; let rest 10 minutes.
  • Warm the remaining bbq sauce in a pan.
  • Cut pork on a slight diagonal into ½-inch-thick slices. Arrange pork slices on a platter. Drizzle pork with warmed peach bbq sauce, reserving the extra for serving.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

  • Serve the pork alongside grilled corn on the cob or a big arugula salad to complete this meal.

SWAP SUGGESTIONS

  • Protein: Swap pork for grilled chicken breasts or thighs. Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Vegetarian: Replace pork with cauliflower steaks or skewer veggies, grill then serve with bbq sauce.
  • Gluten-Free: Replace soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos.

MAKE AHEAD

  • Make the peach bbq sauce up to 5 days in advance and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
